Soil Check, Harvest Flex!

An important step toward more resilient and sustainable agriculture was realized through the collaborative partnership of the LGU Bayombong, under the leadership of Mayor TGB, and NVSU, led by Dr. Wilfredo A. Dumale Jr., alongside the College of Agriculture, headed by Dean Aldwin D. Pablo. This was achieved by providing logistical support to the University Soil Laboratory Center in the form of soil reagents. Through the initiative of Mayor TGB, LGU Bayombong is the first to establish this type of partnership with NVSU to further strengthen soil analysis and promote nutrient-balanced fertilization, leading to better and more productive crop production for our farmers. This partnership is expected to continue and flourish even more toward sustainability, agricultural innovation, and stronger support for the agricultural sector in the Municipality of Bayombong.
